Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

LockLore is a static, informational website. That one fact shapes this whole policy: there's very little here that could collect information about you, and we keep it that way on purpose. Here's the plain-English version.

What we don't collect

  • No accounts. There are no logins, sign-ups, or user profiles on this site, so we never ask for your name, address, or payment details.
  • No forms collecting personal data. There is no contact form, newsletter form, or comment section on LockLore. If you want to reach us, you email us — see below.
  • No sale of data. We don't sell, rent, or trade information about visitors to anyone, for any reason.
  • No advertising trackers from us. We don't run ad networks or social-media pixels on this site.

What our hosting sees

Like every website, LockLore is served by a hosting provider, and web servers automatically keep standard logs of each request — things like the page requested, the time, your browser type, and your IP address. These logs are a normal part of running and securing a website (they're how hosting providers spot errors and abuse). We don't use them to build profiles of individual visitors, and we don't combine them with information from anywhere else.

We may also look at aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics — overall traffic patterns such as how many people read a guide — never your individual identity.

Links to other companies

Many of our guides link out to the companies we write about — VPN providers, hosts, software makers. Some of those links are affiliate links, explained on our disclosure page. The moment you click one, you leave LockLore, and that company's own privacy policy governs anything you do there: signing up, paying, using their apps. If it matters to you (and it should), read their policy before you hand them anything.

If you email us

Our contact page lists an email address. If you write to us, we'll see your email address and whatever you put in the message, and we'll use it only to reply to you. We don't add email addresses to any marketing list, and we don't share them.

Changes to this policy

If the site ever changes in a way that affects privacy — a new feature, a new tool — we'll update this page and change the date at the top. The policy that applies is always the one posted here.
